Terms and Conditions
We are committed to providing you with the best possible event-hosting experience. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking an event with us.
Booking and payment
To book an event, you must submit a signed contract and pay a deposit of 50% of the total event cost. The remaining 50% of the event cost must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event date.
Cancellation and Refunds
If you cancel your event more than 60 days before the event date, you will receive a full refund of your deposit. If you cancel your event within 30–60 days of the event date, you will receive a 50% refund of your deposit. If you cancel your event within 30 days of the event date, you will not receive a refund of your deposit.
Changes to Your Event
If you need to make any changes to your event, such as the date, time, or number of guests, you must notify us in writing at least 30 days prior to the event date. We will do our best to accommodate your changes, but we cannot guarantee that we will be able to do so.
Liability
AJ Events & Production is not liable for any damages or losses incurred as a result of your event, including but not limited to:
- Damage to the event venue
- Injury to guests or staff
- Loss or damage to personal property
You are responsible for all damages and losses incurred as a result of your event unless otherwise agreed with AJ Events & Production in writing.
Force Majeure
AJ Events & Production is not liable for any failure to perform its obligations under this agreement due to an act of God, war, terrorism, strike, lockout, or other event beyond its reasonable control.
Entire Agreement
These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and AJ Events & Production concerning the booking of your event. Any prior agreements, representations, or understandings between the parties are hereby superseded.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed under the laws of Sri Lanka.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved by binding arbitration following the rules of Laws of Sri Lanka.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck from these Terms and Conditions, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Waiver
No waiver of any provision of these Terms and Conditions shall be effective unless in writing and signed by both parties.
Notices
All notices and other communications under these Terms and Conditions shall be in writing and shall be deemed to have been duly given when delivered in person, upon the first business day following deposit in the Sri Lankan mail, postage prepaid, certified or registered, return receipt requested, addressed as follows:

Incorporation
These Terms and Conditions are incorporated into and made a part of the contract between you and AJ Events & Production for the booking of your event.
